1. Who We Are
Pruufe ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Pruufe platform at pruufe.com and app.pruufe.com. We provide AI-powered marketing services and a client portal to businesses.
Pruufe is based at 21307 W 96th Terrace, Lenexa, KS 66220.
Questions about this policy can be directed to contact@pruufe.com.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you or your team members create a portal account, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed password. We never store passwords in plain text.
OAuth Credentials
If you connect a third-party service (such as Google Gmail) via OAuth, we store the OAuth access and refresh tokens necessary to act on your behalf — for example, to send emails as part of an automated marketing workflow. We do not store your Google password. You can revoke access at any time through your Google account settings or through the Pruufe portal.
Client & Lead Data
We store the contact and marketing data you provide us about your leads and customers (names, emails, phone numbers, appointment history, notes). This data belongs to you. We use it solely to deliver the services you have engaged us for.
Integration Credentials
API keys, passwords, and access tokens for third-party services (e.g., Twilio, Google Ads, Meta) are stored encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. Plain-text values are never logged or transmitted to our staff.
Usage Data
We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited to maintain security and improve the platform.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Pruufe platform and services.
- To send automated marketing communications on your behalf (e.g., email nurture sequences) using the credentials and integrations you have connected.
- To authenticate your account and keep it secure.
- To contact you about your account, service updates, or support requests.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your data or your customers' data to third parties. We do not use your data to train AI models without your explicit consent.
4. Google OAuth & Gmail Access
Pruufe uses Google OAuth 2.0 to allow you to connect your Gmail account for sending automated marketing emails. When you grant this permission:
- We request only the scopes necessary to send email on your behalf.
- We store OAuth tokens encrypted in our database.
- We do not read, index, or share your existing email contents.
- You can disconnect your Google account at any time from the Integrations page in the portal, or by visiting myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Data Storage & Security
All data is stored with reputable cloud infrastructure providers in the United States. We apply strict access controls, encrypted connections (TLS), and encrypted storage for sensitive fields such as API keys and OAuth tokens.
Access to client data within our team is restricted to authorized Pruufe personnel who need it to deliver your services. All access is logged for audit purposes.
6. Third-Party Services
We work with trusted third-party service providers to operate the Platform, including providers for cloud hosting, database storage, authentication, communications (email and SMS), workflow automation, and AI processing. These providers are contractually obligated to handle data securely and only as directed by us.
We also integrate with third-party platforms at your direction (such as Google, Meta, and advertising networks) to deliver your marketing services. Each platform has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account and business data for as long as you are a Pruufe client. Upon termination of services, you may request a full export of your data. We will delete your data within 30 days of a written deletion request, except where retention is required by law.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Revoke OAuth and integration access at any time.
- Export your data in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@pruufe.com.
9. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the portal. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
